Predicting the Future

          Music is Everything

So as you know, I'm a musician and aspiring creative who wants to show the world what a difference actually believing in oneself can actually make. The impact celebrities have on the "people" is HUGE. I figured maybe one day, I can even be that role model or idol for someone. Making music and getting paid for it would be absolutely the sickest job in the world. I'd want to be able to pay for any medical bills my mom has and especially any other expenses she needs to take care of. Same goes for my dad and sister; I really just want to help. With this job, I should be racking in more than 1.2 million dollars a year so I think I'd be financially stable. And with that being said, there'd be NO reason not to have some children. I'd say about 3-4 kids considering I can afford them all, and hopefully they'd be 2 boys and 2 girls if not 2 boys and 1 girl. Living in this mansion in the city I'm from (Malden), I would be so close to my old friends and mentors. It would be such a life of great memories and no regrets.

Maybe it Wasn't Everything I Thought it Was

Unfortunately for my music career, not too many people cared for Jazz Hop as I thought they would. After 2-3 years of multiple albums reaching number 1 on the Billboard charts, I thought for sure I would be making music for the rest of my life. That turned out to be a terrible idea, considering I was booed off my last performance at The Grammy's. It was embarrassing but, to be honest it was worth it. I finally had enough money to start up every invention and idea I had stirred up in my head. So not only was I known globally for making music, I was also on top of the charts when it came to new technological advances in society as well as Forbes' Man of the Year for 2 years straight! What an accomplishment!

Alternate Universe

Imagine a place where everyone was paid in happiness. Crazy isn't it? Being able to purchase an article of clothing or new car simply by the level of happiness that you are. Well, in my alternate universe I would be the starter of the first company to accept currency in happiness. So what we would do is measure the level of happiness from each customer when they're at check out, if they're level of happiness doesn't reach a certain point, the purchase cannot be completed. In the end of all things, smiling really does make a difference in how your day goes. I think this would be a perfect way to abolish the hatred and negativity of the world. If we could just somehow get everyone to be genuinely happy!

Thank you, Future

Who cares about the future?
I do.
From the Maserati to the Porsche
To calamari on the porch
And my children's big eyes
My wives thick thighs
Rich in abundance
The great treat of all
Please no onions
There's no room to weep or bawl
A fancy house
With an Utanagan dog
Wife's a lose cannon in draws
But no worries here
Oh, surely dear
I thank the universe and the future first
Cause I know what is purely here
I know its the truth that hurts
But this is no piercing tale
No pin on a Donkey
This is the truth
My future is bright cause my past will never haunt me
I know what I want
I know what I got
I promise to be successful
I'll give all that I got.

The Future is Present

From a full suit to a pair of soccer shorts, I plan on being a laid back yet very active man when I'm older. Due to the fact that I want to be able enjoy my time with my children, I would love to be exercising daily and getting all the health benefits I can. Since I want to be a software engineer, it's only best I work for Google! It's received best place to work in the world for its 3rd year in a row this year — that's crazy. With that being said, what's better than a fully electric car that has 265 horsepower? Nothing much! I can tell you that much. And that's where the Tesla Model S comes along. Though, I won't be driving the 2013 version, I'd be pushing the year date one for sure. A family would be so awesome to have, especially young children that will grow to be great thinkers. The Asimo robot is a little far fetched right now but, it's definitely something were going to be seeing a lot of in the near future. I could bore you about everything else I posted but that's what the poem is for..

It's Funny how the Future's Present & the Gift is You

Who can say for sure what I will be like?
Ten, twenty years maybe even thirty
Who knows if I'll see right?
Left in the past with no where to return, an Asimo robot to do my work til I return.
A mansion of expansion.
My children all dancing.
To Dubai we go!
No sandstorms to stop us..
Google employee of the month
Now, I'm on top cause
I kicked my way here guess all that training worked out
Base jumping having my wife's thoughts worked out
The future is present but so is the past
So until I forget it, it just won't last
Here I come!

My Sterling Passion

My Sterling Passion

It all began in 2008; I was in the 7th grade, my buddy Brett in the 8th. He came up to me one day and asked me if I liked rap music and if I wanted to hear a song he wrote. And ever since then, it was history.

I fell in love with writing music in the 7th grade but it wasn't until the summer of my 9th grade going to 10th grade year that I took it seriously. My buddy Chin (who's in a rap group with me) let me borrow his mic because he found a studio he could go to. Eventually, though, I got my own mic. Anyway, my first  song was horrible. I did NOT expect to receive as much hate for the song that I actually got. It was a terrible moment in my career but, in reality, it was probably the best thing that could have happened to me. Because everyone doubted my craft and mocked my efforts it really made me deepen my vocabulary as well as strengthen my flow.

Don't get me wrong; I have plenty of other things I would love to do. For instance, I want to be the founder of the world's first 100% non-profit, NO-(not low)-cost industry. I'm not entirely sure what services I would be offering but most definitely the most important things to benefit human health (clothes, food, shelter, tooth brushes, appliances, etc). Another passion I have is for technology. I LOVE THE FUTURE. Steve Jobs is my God. Okay, sorry about that. As I was saying; I have three brilliant and revolutionary ideas that would really change the way some people interact with one another and their devices. All I have to say about that is; don't forget my name!

Although I have all these dreams and aspirations to help society evolve as a race, I also just really love making music. There's no greater feeling than writing a song and just continuously rapping the verses over and over and over again until you finally record it. Good thing for me, my mic is right in my room. Being famous and getting paid for making that music would just be out of this world. I would be able to connect to millions of people across the world and spread my message to all of them by simply doing the one thing I love. So yeah - if I could choose one thing to do for the rest of my life it would definitely have to be; creating music.

La Musica de Jeffrey iLL

Music is love
Love is the music
So when I think I'm in love
I'm just listening to music
Repetitive rhyme schemes, excessive rewinding
Trying to get the message
That the lesson's describing
Revising
I honor every rhythm,
The heavy hitting,
The Remy sippin'
Hip-hop is the one I should marry
I'll do it any instant
To be recognized for my second eyes
Is something that I just can't be missing
No - I can't resist it
Music has my heart on lock down;
I cherish every visit
I still love H.E.R
Guess that's just common
He told me 'Go' and 'Be' free
Who did?
I said, "just Common."
