Quality in the Professional World (I DIDN'T PUBLISH THIS LAST WEEK, I APOLOGIZE)

Professional Quality

Though I am not currently employed, I do however recall my days at D'Angelo as a sandwich artist very clearly. I was 17 when I got hired for the position (3 years ago) and it was my first actual job with a pay check every week. I have to say, it was a great overall experience. The people there were extremely friendly, as well as inviting, and they all showed me lots of love. Even when I didn't know what I was doing they all seemed to just want to help me; it was awesome.

I guess you could say I was thankful for the great people I had on my team. We really got things done efficiently. I remember Black Friday one year, IT WAS HECTIC. Although, I only worked from 4-9 (I think those were my hours) it was crazy. The people rushing to get their deals and get fed were horrible! All they did was rush us and continuously harass us for mistakes we made. But again, as great as my team was we just pulled it together and kept pushing. We sold maaaaaaany maaaaaaany sandwiches that day.

I was also very grateful for the customers we received on a daily basis. The regulars, as some would call them, were all extremely friendly people. Always concerned with my well-being and really just had a knack for conversation. It was one of those things I looked forward to when going to work. This electrician I knew named Joe always had the coolest things to say about his past. He was quite the character, if i say so myself. Same goes for a janitor I knew from Puerto Rico. He was the man!

Rap Resume

Let me tell you all the truth
I am the walking proof
I keep it tight
Never thought of talking loose

My rhymes are sick
You can catch a cold if you hear'em live
Rewind it quick
You can hear my soul if you hear it live

I'm here to find one thing
And that's the answer
Why am I so gifted?
I don't know; let's ask Santa

Cause I can make Rudolph's nose stop shining
And the gingerbread man can run and hide but I'm gon find him.
Man, that's just what I do
My ish claps, I kick raps like it was kung-fu.

  1. Jeffriel,

Good post! I always enjoy how authentic you are in your writing. Your experience at the sandwich shop seemed like a really interesting one. It's cool to see how much you appreciated the people, and not the task or the money.

Working with good people goes a long way, and cool customers always make for a smile or two each day.

I like your resume here - I wish it was a bit longer and that you went a little further with it, but I know you were trying to squeak this assignment in. You've got a real talent with rhymes and a good flow. I'd like to see more of your work.
